Bath Rugby - Mid-Tier

CAPACITY: 14,509

Ahead of the 2023/24 season, Bath Rugby’s home field, The Rec, received another massive digital upgrade. Our team at Bendac Engineering designed and installed two large mid-tier LED displays that will create more fan engagement benefits and new advertising opportunities for the historic venue.

The new mid-tier LED displays, each measuring 9m wide, are located at either end of the South Stand and will provide live score updates, sponsor advertising, and club announcements. This installation is just one of many major projects Bendac has completed with Bath Rugby, including the massive 45m2 big screen, South Stand Scoreboard, plus indoor and outdoor displays at their training facility, Farleigh House.

Bath Rugby fans can now enjoy an even better match-day experience with our new LED mid-tier displays providing them with real-time updates and more opportunities to connect with the club and fellow supporters.

High performance partnerships

We are proud sponsors and fans of Bath Rugby, and believe that LED displays within stadia transform the fan experience on match day and beyond. Find out more about Bendac’s Stadium LED.

Our highly skilled engineering team designed a solution to work around the existing infrastructure of The Rec, causing minimal disruption and delivering a quick installation. The frame work, wiring and product was all installed within just 4 days!

In an effort to provide an eco-friendly solution, the team designed a system to lift the cabinets from the pitch-side up to the mid-tier location, meaning no heavy machinery was required.

Whilst filming content of the installation, our Customer Experience Manager Tony crashed his drone into a nearby tree.

We have now designed and installed 6 LED solutions for Bath Rugby in a 3 year period!
